Organic Centella Asiatica Extract หรือที่บางที่ก็เรียกติดปากว่า Tiger Grass นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นสมุนไพรขึ้นชื่อทั้งในจีน เกาหลี และทั่วเอเชียมาตั้งแต่โบราณ โดยเฉพาะเรื่องรักษาบาดแผล อาการอักเสบ และผิวไหม้

ว่ากันว่าชื่อ Tiger Grass ก็มาจากเวลาที่เสือได้รับบาดเจ็บมักจะชอบไปนอนในบริเวณที่มีใบบัวบกขึ้นอยู่เพราะจะทำให้แผลหายได้ไวขึ้นนั่นเอง

ในยุคนี้ที่ถูกนำไปวิจัยและศึกษามากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ จนค้นพบว่าน้องช่วยปลอมประโลมและรักษาผิวที่ระคายเคืองได้แบบดีเลิศ จากแหล่งที่ดีที่สุดบนเกาะ Madagascar

ใบบัวบกเป็นสมุนไพรยืนต้นที่ใบจะมีลักษณะเป็นรูปพัดสีเขียว เป็นสมุนไพรมีประวัติการใช้มาอย่างยาวนานในแต่ละท้องที่ อุดมไปด้วยสารต้านอนุมูลอิสระกลุ่มไตรเทอพีนอยด์ ซึ่งมีสารสำคัญๆ 4 ชนิด ได้แก่ Asiaticoside, Madecassoside, Asiatic acid และ Madecassic acid ที่มีความเข้มข้นสูง

สามารถกระตุ้นการสร้างคอลลาเจน Type I และ III ช่วยลดริ้วรอย ช่วยให้ผิวกระชับขึ้นและช่วยแผลหรือรอยดำแดงที่เกิดจากสิวจางลงได้

มีประสิทธิภาพในการลดการอักเสบของผิว สามารถลดการเกิดเม็ดสีเมลานินซึ่งทำให้ผิวคล้ำ ด้วยการลดการอักเสบของผิวที่เกิดจากแสง UV ทำให้ช่วยเร่งให้ผิวขาวในกรณีที่ผิวคล้ำที่เกิดจากการออกแดด ซึ่งจะช่วยเร่งการรักษาบาดแผล

เพิ่มสารต่อต้านอนุมูลอิสระที่บริเวณบาดแผลช่วยเสริมสร้างผิวหนังได้ และเพิ่มปริมาณเลือดไปยังบริเวณที่เป็นแผลได้ จะออกฤทธิ์ต้านการอักเสบ ฆ่าเชื้อแบคทีเรียเชื้อรา การสมานแผลความร้อน เลเซอร์ ให้หายเร็วขึ้น

รอยแผลเป็นมีขนาดเล็กลง ลดโอกาสการเกิดแผลเป็นนูน ลดรอยหมองคล้ำ รอยดำของผิว รอยแดง รอยแผลเป็น ลดการบวมช้ำให้เลือนหายเร็วขึ้น

โดยเฉพาะผิวแพ้ง่ายหรือที่เป็นสิวก็เหมาะสุดๆ นั่นก็เพราะใน ใบบัวบกนี้ มีทั้งกรดอะมิโน เบต้าแคโรทีน วิตามิน A, B1, B2 และ C รวมไปถึงสารต้านอนุมูลอิสระที่ช่วยบูสท์คอลลาเจนให้ผิวแบบดีเวอร์

จากการทดสอบประสิทธิภาพการลดการอักเสบของใบบัวบก หลังผิวผ่านการทำเลเซอร์ Fractional ที่ทำให้เกิดอาการแดงบนผิว เมื่อเทียบกับการใช้ TA Cream(ยาสเตียรอยด์) 0.02% เพื่อลดการอักเสบ พบว่าครีมที่มีส่วนผสมของ ใบบัวบก, Panthenol, Copper-Zinc-Manganese มีประสิทธิภาพที่ดี ซึ่ง Madecassoside ทำหน้าที่ในการลดการอักเสบของผิว และกระตุ้นการสังเคราะห์ collagen ของผิวได้ดี

Centella asiatica is used in Chinese and Indian traditional medicine as a rejuvenating product and also in pharmaceutical applications. It has beneficial effects in skin and wound healing by improving a wide range of cutaneous parameters.

Many scientific studies demonstrated that the biological activities attributed to Centella asitica are due to the presence of a variety of pentacyclic triterpenoids also called centellosides, represented by four major compounds: asiaticoside, madecassoside and their geninns. Scientific studies also demonstrated a significant variation in content of centellosides. These variations are governed by a combination of parameters such as the climate, the seasons of harvest and the genotype.

Identifying a good sourcing in terms of quality, traceability, reproducibility, sustainability and high level in bioactives is a key element to develop a product with a strong biology activity.

In order to respect all these criteria, the arial part of organic Centella asiatica harvested in Madagascar were used to produce our organic Centella asiatica extract.

Centella asiatica can stimulate the production of collagen Type I and III and anti-wrinkles. It helps tighten the skin and helps fade scars or redness caused by acne. Effective in reducing inflammation of the skin. It can reduce melanin pigmentation, which makes the skin dark.

By reducing the inflammation of the skin caused by UV light, it helps to accelerate skin whitening in case of dark skin caused by sun exposure. This will speed up wound healing and increase anti-oxidants at the wound site to help strengthen the skin. And increase the blood supply to the wound healing faster, the scars are smaller and reduce the chance of scar formation.
